A South African fast spreading native with slender succulent foliage accented by tall flower stalks with small buds that have a unique green center stripe, revealing deep orange petals and frilly yellow stamens. Prefers dry conditions but adapts to humidity and harsh weather. Ideal in rock gardens, as a massed ground cover or for erosion control. Plant in full to part sun. Water occasionally once established; more in extreme heat or containers.
