HERB Costmary - “Bible leaf”

An old-fashioned, hardy, perennial herb, costmary is appreciated for its long, feathery leaves and mint-like aroma. Tiny yellow or white blooms appear in late summer. Also known as Bible Leaf, its stems were often used as bookmarks to mark pages of scripture. Plants reach 2-3’ in height and lovely as a backdrop to shorter herbs. Tolerates most soil types and some shade though prefers full sun. Requires little water once established.
