4 " =This plant is actually a member of the mint family and is a perennial herb. It grows as a bushy, leafy herb with a pleasant lemon smell and small white flowers. Easy to grow, the plants aren’t picky and will grow almost anywhere though they prefer rich, well draining soil and full sun. Removing the spent flowers before they become seed will help prevent it becoming invasive. Leaves can be used for teas, potpourri, in cooking, making essential oils and as a natural insect repellant.
