Oemleria Cerasiformis sold by 1-gallon pot.
One of the earliest natives to leaf out and bloom each spring, Oso Berry is charming with its white flower clusters hanging from the tips of branches. When both male and female plants are present, purple berries or 'plums' ripen in summer. Many birds eat the fruit and Anna's hummingbirds feed on the nectar. Allowed to grow into a thicket, Indian Plum provides cover and nesting sites. Grows 10-20’ tall. Prefers moist, well-drained, fertile soil in sun or partial shade. Tolerates most soil conditions including clay.
